Using the Sequencing Mat with Pictures

The sequencing mat is divided into four sections- first, next, then, and last.    Students should place the picture cards in the correct order.  See below for picture card descriptions.

These are the sequencing cards included with the free printable.  Encourage students to describe each step to check that the pictures are sequenced correctly.

Making Cookies: Ingredients, Stiring, Scooping, Finished Tray

Making Pizza: Roll Dough, Sprinkle Cheese, Bake, Eat

Making Cupcakes: Add Ingredients, Bake, Frost, Eat

Planting: Add Soil, Add Seed, Add Water, Plant Grows

Dressing for the Rain: Put on Boots, Put on Coat, Put on Hat, and Hold Umbrella
