These Peanut Butter Fudge Bars are made delicious with yellow cake mix, peanut butter, chocolate chips, coconut and walnuts!
Here’s an easy dessert that begins with a yellow cake mix. If you aren’t into yellow cake, you can always substitute white cake mix instead. Everyone loves a good bar, and this one is full of delicious flavors. This is a recipe that is good to bring to a potluck.
Ingredients needed:
- yellow cake mix
- creamy peanut butter
- butter
- eggs
- sweetened condensed milk
- vanilla extract
- salt
- semisweet chocolate chips
- shredded coconut
- chopped walnuts or pecans (leave out the nuts if there are allergy concerns or if you don’t care for nuts)
How to make Peanut Butter Fudge Bars:

Preheat the oven to 350℉.
In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, peanut butter, ½ cup of the melted butter and eggs. Stir until blended. Press ⅔ of the mixture into a 9×13-inch ungreased pan.
In a separate bow. combine the condensed milk, 2 tablespoons of melted butter, vanilla and salt. Stir in the chocolate chips, coconut and nuts. Spread this mixture evenly over the cake mix layer. Crumble the reserved dough over the top.
Bake 25 to 30 minutes, or until golden. Cool for at least a couple of hours.
Then cut into squares.
