I love pretty drinks for parties and tasty beverages you can enjoy with friends or family. And I think you will enjoy this blended margarita too! But, I included a variation in case you don’t want a frozen margarita and might be hosting a larger group.

According to Jose Cuervo; a bartender invented the cocktail in 1938. The cocktail was in honor of a Mexican showgirl Rita de la Rosa.*(reference)

- Margarita Glasses

Ingredients
- 2 ounces of Tequila (or a non-alcoholic Tequila alternative)
- 2 ounces of Triple Sec
- 3 ounces of Lime Juice
- 1 cup of Ice Cubes
- Limes – for lime slices
- Margarita Salt (coarse salt)
- 1 Mini Bottle of Rose (per Margarita glass)

How To Make a Blended Rose Margarita
Instructions
- Add ice cubes into a blender.
- Pour in the tequila, triple sec, and lime juice.
- Secure the lid of the Blender.
- Blend on high or frozen drink mode
- Coat the rim of the glass with lime juice. Then roll the rim into salt (poured onto a plate).
- Pour the blended frozen margarita into the glass.
- Open the mini rose bottle and quickly add it to the glass of just poured blended margarita.
- Garnish with a lime.
