When is the coronation of King Charles III?
Following the death of our beloved Queen Elizabeth II , the coronation of King Charles III and the Queen Consort, Camilla will take place at Westminster Abbey on Saturday 6th May 2023. Their Majesties will arrive at Westminster Abbey in London in procession from Buckingham Palace, known as ‘The King’s Procession’ and after the official ceremony will return to Buckingham Palace in another ceremonial procession, known as ‘The Coronation Procession’. Their Majesties will be joined in this procession by other Members of the Royal Family.
At Buckingham Palace, The King and The Queen Consort, accompanied by Members of the Royal Family, will appear on the balcony to conclude the day’s ceremonial events.
How Can I get Involved?
One way to get involved is to have a Coronation Big Lunch or street party at which neighbours and communities are invited to share food and fun together, these will take place across the country, on Sunday 7th May 2023. However, You can organise your own party and use our free party printables.
Even better here in the UK the following Monday 8th May will be an extra bank holiday, allowing us to celebrate our new monarch even more!

I always print my printables directly onto 160 gsm cardstock using my Epson Ecotank Printer rather than regular paper, this way they are a little more durable and the pens do not bleed through to the other side.

Cupcake Wrappers are a fast way to add a little “wow” to any coronation street party. You just need to print them and then carefully cut around the,. There is a slot for the case to join together but you can add a dab of glue of tape to make sure they dont come undone. Alternatly if you have a Cricut, you can use my template on their Design Space.
If you are going to make a show stoping cake, perhaps even our red, white and blue layer cake (which looks amazing for such a simple recipe) then mini bunting just finishes it off. You can attatch it with string and strawers like I have here or sinfle flags on to tooth picks for smaller cakes. I mean look at that cake with its strawberries and cream, who wouldnt be impressed to find that at their tea party.
There are six different cupcake toppers in this set with the Union Jack flag background and different central images – King Charles wearing the St Edward Crown, the St Edward Crown, God Save the King, and the words “The King’s Coronation 6 May 2023″. These ciruclar cupcake toppers are so versitile and can be turned in to stickers by printing on to sticker sheets which kids love and are perfect for these royal celebrations.
No King Charles III’s corronation party would be complete with out a street full of union jack bunting and we certainly have you covered. These printable penants are designed so that you can print them and cut them out and foild them over the string and then glue or staple so they are double sided.
Set the table for a feast with these Coronation Tea Party Food Labels
These food and cocktail flags are perfect for popping on to a cocktail stick so you can add details for the sandwiches and state which receipes contain meat or alergy information. You may want to mark which cocktails have alcohol in or which are mocktails for the kids. All you have to do with these free printables is wrap them around a cocktail stick.
These place settings also double up as food tags for the buffet party table. They work really well for letting people know of the dish contains meat or allergens. I would print these on white cardstock.
These miniture popcorm boxes are perfect for all soprts of things including chips, crisps and sweets for your Buffet Table. I really do love these and think they are really verstile.
So I origionally designed these for water bottles, but they would be great for any bottle! Print these on Sticker paper and adhere, or just print on standard coppier paper and use a glue stick, I mean it is so simple you dont really need a tutorial, do you?!
