You can use whatever amounts of each ingredient you want and make an easy charcuterie board for one or even a small charcuterie board for two if you aren't hosting a crowd.
Ingredients you will need for this Epic Spring Charcuterie Board
The crusty bread we used in this recipe is just a sliced French bread. First, brush it with olive oil on at least one side (but two is fine, too). Next, broil it until it is browned in the oven. Then let it cool before adding it to the Spring Charcuterie Board.
Storing the bread in an airtight container or bag will most likely make this bread soften. So we recommend that you store it loosely covered if you aren't going to be using it right away.
- Marinated artichoke hearts - (you want a jar with 12 ounces)
- White cheddar cheese cubes
- Sweet cherry tomatoes
- Fresh cauliflower, chopped
- Baby carrots
- Fresh broccoli, chopped
- Fresh Kiwi, peeled and sliced
- Fresh blueberries
- Honey goat cheese
- An assortment of crackers
- Crusty bread or baguette slices
- Chocolate candy eggs - The eggs we used are Cadbury mini eggs. We love that crunchy shell!
Keep in mind, all of the specific charcuterie board ingredients amounts you will need are in the printable recipe card below.
How to make an Epic Spring Charcuterie Board
First select a serving platter or good charcuterie board that has plenty of space for your charcuterie ingredients. Next, select a few small ramekins or small bowls for your chocolate candy eggs and marinated artichoke hearts. Then add a shallow small bowl for your soft goat cheese.
Beginning with the small bowls, place them onto the charcuterie board and add the ingredients into them.
Continue working by adding the largest to smallest items and placing a few on the platter in a single layer.
Lastly, once all of your ingredients are placed on the platter, add a second and third layer to fill the platter.
Serve your Easter Charcuterie Board immediately or cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until ready to serve.
Hint: If you're having a large party, you can use a large serving platter or several platters to make enough! As it is shown in our photos, this charcuterie platter recipe serves about 4 people.

What kind of Equipment Should I use?
We recommend that you always have a beautiful large serving platter or charcuterie board on hand if you love to entertain!
How to Store a Charcuterie Board
Store the wet ingredients (fresh vegetables, fresh fruits, artichoke hearts) separately in the fridge, and add them to the board when you are ready to serve it. If you don't cut the fresh fruits, everything will be good for 2-3 days.
Do not open the bread or crackers for a charcuterie board until you are ready to serve our appetizer recipes, because they will go stale!
FAQ about Charcuterie Boards
With the exception of fresh fruit and veggies and crackers, everything can be prepared ahead of time. Wrap the board in plastic wrap and store it in the refrigerator up to 24 hours ahead of time. Add the fresh fruit, veggies and crackers and bread just before serving.
The essentials for a simple charcuterie board are meats, cheeses, and crackers.
