Need a teacher appreciation gift idea?
If so, consider creating a cute Teacher’s Appreciation gift card holder using these free printable designs! This is a thoughtful gift for Teacher Appreciation Day (on May 2nd), something to give during the holidays, or a sweet sentiment at the end of the school year.
Teachers put an incredible amount of time and energy into our kids. We appreciate them so much; even a small gift like this can make their day!
Gift cards for teachers are always appreciated!
Over the years, we’ve had many teachers (who are also readers) comment they appreciate any gesture. Gift cards make such great gifts for teachers because they can then treat themselves to really anything.
Whether it’s a coffee, lunch, or perhaps a mini shopping spree with a Target gift card, they’ll love it. If you happen to know their favorites, you can even customize your gift card selection personally!
Embellishing a DIY gift card holder can be a fun activity the kids can help with!
By the end of the year, my kids usually know which stores and food their teachers enjoy. For instance, we have one teacher who’s obsessed with Starbucks, one who loves to read (Barnes & Noble, here we come), and another who loves Chipotle. If you’re not sure, however, there’s no harm in sending a quick email to ask!
As a former homeroom parent, I recommend sending out something similar to this TEACHER FAVORITES questionnaire to my teachers. It was very helpful during Teacher Appreciation Week to know what each enjoyed!
