Hello. To attach it to a door, the drawer face would have to be at least 30 inchs wide. I mounted mine on wall . There may be smaller ones. Hope this helps you. Have a good day

Yes, this mounting could be used to hang towels from. We used it for pots and pans and it is working perfectly for that. Easy to install with two screws (one on each side).

They would still hang (except for lids), however I'm not sure you should do that. Everytime you hang a pot it is likely to swing back and hit the window unless you are very careful everytime you hang a pot. If you're careful then it should be fine, if not, or if you have kids help hang them, then I'd be concerned. … see more

The Castro wall bar is quite substantial, but the question is, "How well anchored into your wall is the bar?" If it's screwed into studs, it should hold many pounds of pots and pans. If just attached to drywall, probably less. It's difficult to answer.

I don't know! We anchored it to stucco, but it shouldn't make a difference between that and brick, I wouldn't think.
