Answer:
While I have not painted this, it looks like paint would adhere to the surface.
By kjs on June 14, 2018
I would think so? But I can say for sure. It is a light weigh metal of some sort. I think the small hanging rod would probably scrape off the color but the rest should be fine. good luck :-)

Yes. I’d first wipe it down with acetone to remove any handling hand/body oils. I would ask a paint specialist at the hardware store for the appropriate type aerosol spray paint. I’ll also be painting mine. I installed two (2) in my laundry room. The higher mounted to store hangers and the lower at chest height to plac… see more

I have not tried painting but it may be possible with a suitable type of paint.
By Amazon Customer on June 14, 2018
I did not paint mine ( I wanted them white) , but I don’t see any reason why you couldn’t paint them.

Answer:
I’m not sure you can mount to tile without drilling a hole in the tile. We used anchors in the drywall.
By Nonni on February 26, 2018
I really don't know. It would probably mount in a shower if installed properly. Never hung Wet beach towels on it, but I have hang 2 pair of wet blue jeans and it did fine.
By Helen Huckabee on February 27, 2018
Its not big enough for large beach towels.
By Amazon Customer on February 26, 2018
We mounted it on dry wall with wall anchors. If you can drill two holes in the tile, you could do the same -- I have never drilled in tile, but I know that it can be done. Q2: It would be strong enough to hold a couple of beach towels, but perhaps not big enough. The horizontal rod only gives you about 9 1/2" to wor… see more

Answer:
No, must install screws first, the hang it on the screws,
By John Petit on August 20, 2017
Put screw in the top location as tight as you can and yet still get the unit on it, then mark and drill the bottom you can tighten the bottom as much as you want using a #3 Philips, right through the slot. Hope this helps, wife loves hers!
By Bill G. on August 20, 2017
If you drill the hole for the top screw first, attach the hanger and then drill the hole for the bottom screw, it works great.
By Rita S. on August 20, 2017
You drill screws first and then slide down on. Easy to do.

Answer:
I can't say for sure but my wife has hung several (4-5) damp sweaters without any problem. If I had to guess I'd say there's enough room for 5-6 dresses.
By Daniel DiGiovanni on November 8, 2017
I use it in my laundry room for hanging garments that I don’t want to put in the dryer. I like it so much that I bought another for a second home.
By Nancy L Gould on November 8, 2017
It can hold up to 8 dresses.
By bongmac3 on November 8, 2017
I typically hang about 6 - 8 shirts on these when they come out of the dryer. They hold them well, no concerns of overcrowding or wrinkling.
By MLM525 on November 8, 2017
It dependents on how bulky the dresses are. As for the weight; we hang five of my shirts, three casual pants and couple of jeans as well.
