While you may or may not be off on Monday, theres still lots to celebrate when a long weekend comes right on the tail of Valentines Day, amirite?

Im headed out on a quick overnight road trip to Houston next week to speak to a group on Preparing For the Empty Nest. I love doing that! Next week, Ill be getting underway with my 2020 Spring & Summer style guides! Ive been working hard on them, and Im excited about the pretty and flattering trends I see for warmer weather! I gave you a little sneak peek at some of the trends in last weekends Whats Up, Weekend post and here are a few more:
- The espadrille is back! Look for a marriage of last years hot flatform sandals and the traditional espadrille to produce some of the cutest summer sandals Ive seen in a long time.
- When it comes to handbags, look for darling straw taco clutches and bucket bags to be the hot looks.
- Love earrings? Stock up on fan styles, and anything multi-colored.

How fun is this heart sweatshirt! Its a non-traditional Valentines Day look, for sure! In fact, its so non-traditional, Ill be wearing it all year round, thank you very much! It fits TTS. The wedge sneakers were a real find at Target this fall, and I love the way the little wedge inside them make me stand up straighter when I wear them. (Plus I feel kind of street! 
) They fit TTS.
